This forum has a pretty sharp majority of PC players it seems. At least the regulars.
Of course, I'm firmly opinionated that anybody who doesn't dabble in both (if he/she has the means) is hard to trust.

It's actually at least an even split with a few members having both one or more of the consoles and a PC. Just one more thing that makes the whole console vs PC pissing match ludicrous. A lot of the fanboys are picking a pet platform without thinking that diversity and competition is the one thing keeping the industry strong and prices down.
I'd probably have a PS something or other for the exclusives if I did not have an aversion to unnecessary clutter and tech in my home. So I went with PC as a pretty good catchall entertainment device.

I use PC as well, same reason (obviously, as we live in the same home ) but if I had the money to play with I'd really want to replace the Super Nintendo and the few awesome games I had years ago before the whole thing disappeared somehow, console, games, and all...

I'm a mix. Some games I prefer are PC exclusive (Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines), but I'm mostly a console gamer since I use a laptop for my PC. Personal favorite console is PS2 and even my 360 has a hard time keeping up with the enjoyment of my PS2. Different strokes and all that.

I don't feel so left out on a freezing iceberg
My personal opinion is that all platforms have there benefits and downfalls.

I don't feel so left out on a freezing iceberg My personal opinion is that all platforms have there benefits and downfalls. Agreed - there's pros and cons to everything, and really, it's all about personal preference. Sme people really prefer PC, others prefer PS / XBox / Wii / etc. Me, I love my PC, and I want my SNES back, but I get confused with XBox (I've only ever really tried it once though, to be fair) and PS2 (again, only ever tried once... both were owned by the same former friend).

I don't feel so left out on a freezing iceberg My personal opinion is that all platforms have there benefits and downfalls. I agree with this as well. Though the lines are getting a little blurry. Consoles used to be this whole "plug in and play." Now with the DRM, install to console hard drive and the need to register to x-box or PS gamertags and whatnot it's almost as much malarkey as PC users go through. I think this is actually in part why PC is getting a bit of a resurgence. PCs will never be as social in a gathering around a TV to game as consoles, but the other advantages that consoles used have including price, ease of use and restrictions is eroding the market in ways i think the big three have not foreseen. I really miss my old Sega Saturn though. Had some good times with that.

Considering the bullshit with the XBone and PS4, I'm going to switch to PC for any new gaming for the foreseeable future.
