Best part? CNN and MSNBC are focusing on the downed flight in the Indian Ocean and other stories rather than reporting on a State Senator who conspired to traffic in illegal weapons while simultaneously pushing for more restrictive gun laws.
We all know my political stance, but what the unholy fuck is he doing trying to smuggle full-auto rifles, RPG launchers, etc? Oh, and he apparently was trying to use the deal to pay off a $70,000 campaign debt so he can make a run for California Secretary of State.

About as many think we faked the Apollo Program which rises to over 50% in places like Russia.

Intellectually I understand that. Distrust of government, lemming like though disguised as critical thinking, only a partial understanding of science ( a little knowledge is very dangerous).
But this requires refuting Galileo only as a first step. Next you have to tackle Newton, because geocentricity completely breaks the theory f gravity and probably most of Newton's laws of motion as well. Good fucking luck there. Might as well burn all the physics textbooks and start from scratch.

I'm just gonna assume for the sake of my brain that 1 in 4 Americans are either massive trolls or Sherlock Holmes fans.
They really should make watching Cosmos mandatory in schools.

Captain Janeway. Decorated Starfleet Captain, 24th century traveler of the stars, geocentrist...? She came out and said her voice was hired but she is in fact not a geocentrist.

Just saw a Facebook group in the "suggested groups" box, called "Elder Scrolls for console players".
Uh... if the administrators hate system wars so much why the heck are they just becoming part of the problem by excluding PC players then? Though considering how crazy bitchy PC elitists can be, I'm not surprised. But still.
Perhaps the worst thing about this page is that the banner is a bunch of different TES player character models. Some of which are wearing armor from armor mods. There's even one photoshopped as a super saiyan or some shit.

Bah!
Console fanboys are at least as bad. Any truce between Playstation and X-Box fanboys is usually in the event of a common enemy in my experience. PC gamers can be a pack of elitist bitches as well. meanwhile the Nintendo users are mostly staying out of it from what I've seen and simply enjoying their games. Pretty sure there is a lesson there somewhere.

Some people's crappy games are other people's awesome games. The Wii was far more successful than it's specs would have had you think it would be. That's 'cause Nintendo was focused nearly as much on making fun games as they were on making money or making fancy new tech. There is a lesson there I think.
The current gen is set up to massively fail, mostly because Nintendo decided to launch the platform with no cargo. No one wants to buy a console with no games.
