It's not just Russia is starting to treat the LGBT like shit. India is reintroducing criminalising anyone who is not straight last december. IT's getting scary with the world starting to turn on the LGBT. Just starting to turn on the LGBT? In a world where Iran and Saudi Arabia still execute their homosexuals, we still have a long ways to go worldwide even with Russia and India going at them. So the world still has a long way to go before we can get back to basics. What have Linders said, I'm talking about so called progressive nations that made a sudden backflip when it comes to tolerance on the LGBT, such as India. Besides, most people already know that some of the arab nations are oppressing a lot of things, besides homosexuals. They think women should stay in the kitchen or else, anyone who is not following the Muslim religion should be forced to convert to their side with ANY method and a host of other humanitarian crimes on the list. So yes, I'm aware of the oppression the arab states and let's leave it there.

In the USSR, if you were LGBT, you were lucky if you went to a light labor gulag. More often, LGBT people "disappeared".

India has passed a law that recognizes transgender as a third gender Hoo fucking ray Good on em So given that women are treated as animals there right now with no rights, exactly what kind of legal status is a trans going to have there? I am pretty embittered about them of late given the highly publicized string of gang rapes that have been going on unchecked there. Hell India in general has been on my shit list for the number of scams that come out of there, to say nothing of the percentage of IP addresses associated with that country that the Kitchen spammers here have from India.

That is true I wont and can't disagree Is it the legal system or the enforcement of the law, that more n more attacks have been happening?
Maybe this law will highlight the flaw of where either or both fail miserably, don't forget many countries were where India is now only 30yrs ago

@ Iron: That's true, so I'm not going to discuss this further.
As for India, there's a reason why it's on my lists of "Why I won't be visiting there for a while". India is pretty much a dodgy place, not only the women were treated like crap (A tip if for some reason you're heading there: Don't look at men in eye contact, it will reduce the chance of being harassed.), but also India was ranked one of the highest countries that suffered from corruption (just below China).
