I had heard that inquisition was not coming out until early next year not late this year. Hmmm, a rare Christmas launch for Bioware mayhaps?
As we have been given nothing about what kind of form the next installment will take this tidbit tells us next to nothing. Also, we don't know how big Inquisition is yet, though it looks like they are pulling it together for that one. DA 2 wasn't terrible but it was so much less than it could have been. Adding close to a year of dev time tells me they are taking some of the criticism to heart. that is good.
I'm hoping that any new Mass Effect game avoids the trap of creating an iconic, type player character that players might get too invested in. The ending debacle could have been avoided or mitigated if the fans had not thought that they owned the character more than Bioware did.

DA 2 wasn't terrible??? No it wasn't. It was average. Average=/=terrible. Besides, Origins had at least as many recycled maps. No one bitched about that. They just did a better job of hiding it.

You can argue the death of the author here though Linders, well intead of books it;s video games but there ya go. Headcanon and such. Personally I agree with you on DAII. I replayed it recently and I admit although it has its flaws, it has some good points as well. It's an alright game that got released to soon and got to much hype and people just lashed out. I had fun with the characters, I gave the storyline another chance and found it alright, I liked the combat and saw Hawke's adventurer's as a Vigilante more than the Hero that is the Warden. The glitches sucked, the rather dull tones and recyceld zones were annoying yeah but this deffo does not deserve to be called a bad game. I know one steaming pile of dino dooty called Ride to Hell that earns that right and then some.

I watched people play Ride to Hell on YouTube, and it made me feel physically ill to see more than ten minutes of it.
