I've only seen the movies. Wrath of Khan, The Search for Spock, The Voyage Home, First Contact, and the 2009 reboot being my personal favorites.

First Contact was the only Next Generation movie that didnt suck. II, III, IV, VI, First Contact, and Star Trek (2009) were the ones that didn't suck.

I thought First Contact sucked. It seemed to me like Picard was out of character and the Borg's plan was nonsensical. Not that I'm an expert on Star Trek.
I've seen episodes from the first four versions (never seen Enterprise) but I'm not enough of a fan to have favourites, sadly. I liked the finale to Voyager quite a bit. And I liked every episode of Next Generation. Picard himself is just a fantastic character: complex, unusual for his role, tested every week and very well-played. The rest of the crew I could take or leave though. And I really like all the original series movies a lot, too. Even the one with Spock's brother and all the errors. In fact I have a real soft spot for that one! "What would God need with a starship?" That gave me shivers.

I'm also the one person on Earth who didn't like the 2009 movie very much. I don't hate it. It's just that I thought it was soulless. None of the characters were anything more than impersonators. Bad ones in some cases. Chekov. And again the plot seemed more like a series of excuses to put Kirk on the captain's chair than a story about him as a person. I found him unlikable and static, and everybody else paper thin. Even the villain was just 'some angry nutter trying to kill people because of plot contrivance C which made him angry'. I am looking forward to the sequel though. Now that everyone is a few years older and the premise and a wide, glossy and fairly loyal Star Trek world is established, it might be much more my cup of tea.

That was definitely a good one. I feel like Search For Spock, First Contact, Nemesis and Star Trek 2009 were spoiled by trying to copy it.
But my favourite is probably one of the less action-oriented ones. I really like the first one, even though the whole first half is like a black and white model shot test compilation. xD

You can be a fan of both, I am.
Wrath of Khan is the best Star Trek film, period. Its like the Empire Strikes back of ST movies.
First Contact is dumb, dont get me wrong....but its dumb fun. Action one liners, Space battles, time travel...hell even the Flight of the Phoenix is pretty cool. And the guy who sparked the Federation into existance is a drunk guy with a silly hat, its all good!
Oh, Voyager for most of it ( Looking at you Neelix) and Enterprise' first two seasons sucked super hard.

I am too Star Trek had its intelligence
While Star Wars is just fun to watch

Well, intelligence is a big word. What Star Trek did was explore situiations and how human being would react to it. For example, how would you make Data act more like a human being? How far would you go you uphold the prime directive, would you let a planet die to uphold it? All that stuff.
Star Wars is science fantasy, it doesnt focus on the debates as much and its the story of a group of heroes going on a adventure across the stars.
Now im not saying Star Trek doesnt have cool characters, they do. But the Star Wars characters are on a journey while the Star Trek characters go exploring if you can follow me.
