122.5 in-game hours later, it is over.
Wow. It's sort of like coming out of a deep cave, given that I was playing Dragonage every waking minute until Witcher 3 came out and since have been into that. I'm grateful fallout 4 will be awhile...

Review:
Too long. A lot of intricacy and great side quests, but there was just too much stuff. The game became "The quest to find a merchant I haven't bankrupted recently" Skellige in particular with it's kajillion useless smuggler's caches was annoying.
Don't get me wrong, I love doing all the side quests before I get to the main one, but some of them got annoying. The overlong quest for Dandelion, followed by Priscilla's attack, was one problem.
I really liked finding all the gear, and upgrading the hell out of it, but it was disappointing to learn that it didn't have the best swords in game.
Two items in particular bugged me. The first because I'm a crappy player: Fist fighting. Take all my advantage in dodging away (Eredin was pretty much a breeze) and give my opponents more hit points than an ice giant? NOT. INTERESTED. the second because of the developers: The bugs are annoying. The entire game I had no chance to fully develop all my drugs because I lacked 1 Ekimarra hide. Oh, and two treasure quests bugged out on me, which annoys my completionist heart.

Romance / Endgame:
While it was thoroughly Geralt's (My) fault that his romantic life fell through, (It had to happen sooner or later, big guy...) it was still a bummer to get all the way to act III before the consequences set in.
Also, thanks to an unfortunate click I got some info on the endings, which apparently rest on how supportive you are of Ciri, even though not all of the dialog options make that support very clear.
Speaking of which, despite her free spirit and all, she's being offered control of essentially her entire world, and she's sad that she can't go kill monsters with foster dad anymore? (Also, if you play your cards right, apparently she can go be a witcher on her own instead) It's a solidly happy ending for pretty much everyone except Geralt's blue balls.
Geralt can tell a zeugl from a forktail by toe size, but can't tell that Ciri is distracted and holding back something big?
Lastly, Gwent was awesome.
