I hope we can kill civilians. Assassin's Creed 3 gave you landmines and then told you off for planting them in the streets.
I would really enjoy playing Geralt as the type of guy to help folks out by slaying monsters, and generally be fair in conversations, but occasionally wig out and just go on killing sprees.

So the review embargo has been lifted, any TW3 is getting a lot of 9s and 10s. This is very refreshing.

Basically me right now. I'm dying to play this game. I think it's all the Red Dead Redemption comparisons it's getting.

Pre-loaded that shit on Steam, yo.
Funny enough the PC version of TW3 is for some reason a little over 20 GBs in memory; twice as less as the PC versions of GTA V and Wolfenstein: The New Order.
Methinks this is because CDProjekt has the decency to compress the audio and cutscenes in their games.

Linders and I were discussing whether my computer could handle the game. It did quite well for a few hours. It froze on me a few minutes ago, so I'm letting it relax a bit.
Lot of fun so far!

out of curiosity Clint is there any side program in your rig to check it's running temperature? If it's overheating you could be damaging it.

I had one on it before, but eliminated it when I replaced my processor and fixed the problem a few years ago.
At the time, I did a lot of research into my fan and cooling system and was assured it was very good. That information was not countered when I had an IT Professional work on it to upgrade it this year. I'm satisfied that so long as I don't take an 8 hour gaming session, I should be fine. Honestly, I need the motivator to take a break.
FYI... Hit Drowners first... they hit hard.

Played enough of the game yesterday to clear out White Orchard and kill the griffin. I'm really enjoying it so far. The RDR seem very justified. I spent like six hours wandering around that one area and barely realised it.
I was a bit annoyed at how much the griffin kept killing me, though. After so much exploration, I'd got pretty good at the combat, and could take out groups of humans or wolves without even getting hit, then that flying douche just kept killing me time and time again. I even prepared for the fight really well, spent most of my money on bombs and oils.
I can't wait to get into the larger open world.

Duly noted. I've a few sidequests before I leave White Orchard. I guess Aard doesn't harm it too much then?
If anyone notices something particularly important worth collecting that isn't on the logical list (Plants, orens, etc) please say so. My worrywart self is bothered by the concept of eating so many Wolf Livers if they are worth something.
