There will be almost as much anticipation for his review as for the movie!

For his next review as well! His last one was Titanic right? And that was like a year ago. I need more Plinkett!

You get the impression he/they are just sick of Plinkett reviews and only make them under duress. Must be awkward when everyone wants you to do something and you don't.

I dunno, they mentioned at the end of the Indiana Jones review they wanted to keep going. I really like the reviews but at the end of the day they are putting in the man hours so we can watch it for free. Their call really.

Well the Star Wars nerds (the ones that make me seem like a vaguely normal person by comparison) are up in arms over the "lightsaber claymore" from the actual official trailer. They're clamoring about how the weapon makes no sense. How quickly they forget the lightsaber tonfas used by one Maris Brood... starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Guard_shoto

saw it already. He somehow made Star Wars look something even Lucas at his worst couldn't. And that something is lame. JJ needs to step up his game big time if he is going to generate any kind of faith from the fanbase.

Yeah, the teaser was pretty lame, but I did kinda dig those X-Wings skimming the deck of that lake. Nice visuals on that, but beyond that bit, nothing to write home about. Of course since it's a teaser maybe they deliberately decided to not put anything really over the top in it. Time will tell.

Aparantly a very loud minority of the fanbase thinks having a black guy being the main lead is a bad idea. And also that Stormtroopers shouldn't be black. Despite the fact that-
A: Even if we discard most of the EU, it is stated that Stormtroopers were conscripted or recruited as the Clone Wars died down. So you got normal people next to Jango's clones.
B: Han and Luke pulled that shit off before in Episode 4. Then again someone said Mark Hamill was called for being "to short" to be one. So you know even back in the day you had whiners who bitched about everything.
Alright real talk, I saw the guy in "Attack the Block" and I think he can pull it off. Stop going on the racist train, i dont like that train....the service sucks and i'm sure nobody cleans the abthrooms there.

I was quietly pleased that the main character is black, but I didn't want to say so for fear of revealing my bleeding liberal heart!
Race aside - yeah, Attack the Block. He was so good in it. I knew he was in this film but didn't realise he was like, the leading man. Good news.
That lightsaber though... I really can't get over that.

The original trilogy had a white guy in black armour. This one has a black guy in white armour.

I read a novel once where Kit Fisto (the guy with the uncontrollable tentacles) had a lightsaber whip. xD
I hate the silly lightsabers. To my mind, the lightsaber should be one blade, straight and blue (or green or red if you really must).

I can see something like a lightsaber pike/spear and Maul's saberstaff makes some sense in that it's not completely silly, but uncommon things are uncommon for a reason.
Of course I'm usually the guy who can be seen dual-wielding sabers at times so I don't mind some flexibility, but some stuff is just plain ludicrous.

They should introduce a guy who uses lightsaber throwing knives. Or a lightpitchfork.
