Concidering how reality sucks, with the satuation of brown and gritty shooters... let's make a wish of what we wanna see in games, a game that you want to see it made.... or just about anything you really wish it comes to reality in terms of reality.
I'll start. I love to see more RPGs to choose from the shelves, besides BioWare games. Because I missed the days in the late 90s and early 2000's, I get to pick heaps of them off the shelf.

I just want a Star Wars game where your Wii remote / Kinect is the lightsaber / blaster / steering wheel, and you play through the original trilogy.

I don't like the sloppy execution of motion controllers thus far but that sounds wildly fun Buch.
Me, I want to see game devs try to remember that games are...well games. All this search for gritty realism is sucking the fun right out of the hobby. There has been a lot of complaining from reviewers and certain other folks who follow the industry that there are too many stories in games where the PC is "the chosen one" or "the hero." Well what's wrong with that? I play games to forget about life's drudgery every now and again and these fools want to drag that drudgery in?
Give me my escapist fantasy entertainment please without the side order of guilt while you are at it.

Storyline. I want well crafted epics to be a part of, not half hashed "kill the Zombies/Nazis/Terrorists" Dragonage Origins and Mass effect an OK job. LA Noire knocked it out of the park, and Red Dead Redemption was 8 out of 10, because the world was so easy to take a wrong turn in.

I'd like to see an old turn-based strategy RPG in the style of Fire Emblem show up again. I miss those kinds of games, I really do, and I'd love to see them show up at some point.

* For the second season of The Walking Dead to have the budget of an AAA game.
* A Dragon Age game fully in the vein of Origins, featuring the Warden as the protagonist again.
* An Obsidian developed KotOR III about the Jedi Exile flying into dark space and kicking True Sith arse with Atton, HK-47, T3-M4 and Revan in the party. (and they don't die like some busta.)

No offense but...
I wish things could be differnt to ME3. If that happened, you more likely to see me snarking about something from that game on my 25th playthrough, rather hearing me saying "done with ME".
Other things: I would like to see a Shadowrun RPG, made by either Obsidian or CDprojekt. I have a soft spot for Sci-fi RPGS these days.
And also: I want to an Sci-Fi RPG that could replace that void that ME had made inside of me. I can tell it had filled the void for me when I'm start writing big chunks of fan fics for it.

You know what I forgot to mention? Star Wars: Battlefront 3.
I would weep with joy if they ever made it.

1. System Shock 3, nuff said.
2. A Diablo game that's colorful, though still retains the foreboding bleakness and serious character proportions/art style of the original. In other words, Chris Metzen's ideal art style and not Samwise Didier. Also, no "always online" horse hockey either, please. Get somebody other than whatever lazy cokehead that lounges around the lore department to write the story, and for the love of God, bring back Matt Ulmen as the lead musician, please.
3. WarCraft IV. Please disregard as much WoW lore as possible, even split them into two separate canons. Also, go the StarCraft II route and don't streamline anything except the hotkey system.
4. LA Noire 2. I. Skip two or three decades. Make it the 60's or 70's. Hell, even the 80's, making it have that 'To Live and Die In LA' feel. II. Have the protag be a P.I. instead of a cop, if possible. III. Have the protag also be something other than caucasian. Not only diversity, but character racism makes for some great plot material. IV. The protagonist being a war vet may be another repeat, but it could still be pretty cool. Maybe a Vietnam or Grenada vet. V. If he must be an actual LAPD detective, I want the desks to go somewhat in this order: - Patrol/Beat Cop: Basically like the first LA Noire. Containing "the case that makes ya". - Juvenile Crimes: Teenagers from the wrong side of the tracks. Adolescent crime/gang violence kinda peaked at the 70's/80's too, so why not? Could make for some seriously emotionally damaging story material too. - Computer Crime: How awesome would this be? There could be a few computer related puzzles on old-ass 1980's style Tandy 3000's or some shit, trying to find a paper trail left by some notorious computer hacker. In real life, this would be somewhat boring, but it's not like they could cut a few corners and do to it like Raiders of the Lost Ark did to archeology, right? - Homicide: All cases need to be self-contained whodunnits, and not focus on one serial killer/copycat crimes like the original did. - Narcotics: Morphine is out, cocaine is in, baby! Say hello to my little friend! - Internal Affairs: This could be a pretty ballin' if done carefully and correctly. Perhaps the protag has either gotten so well respected (or disrespected) in the department that he's either openly or secretly an IA snoop. Police corruption is always a juicy story topic, and I'd like to see it done again. V. Have more evidence tools and optional CSI contacts and methods to collecting and solving. Have the protag put gloves and hospital shoes on when entering a scene. Also, maybe the protag could be a little on the dirty side and have an option to "plant" evidence to indict a suspect that may be very obviously, though not legally obvious enough, to be the true perp. This can be a moral choice of sorts. As Vic Mackey from The Shield said, "sometimes you gotta make the evidence fit". VI. Give a better choice of gear. Have a police motorpool where the player can choose what cars he already unlocked. More clothes, too, each coming in separate pieces and not the whole suits the first had. Have a police armory where you can choose between a selection of handguns or the rifle/shotgun you want to keep in your trunk. Say what you want about Jack Kelso (looking at you, Glow) but his Browning Hi Power was way more useful than Cole Phelps' M1911A1, if only that it held twice as much ammo and did more or less the same damage. I would have loved it if Cole could have gotten that out of the LAPD's armory.

So I've heard that Chris Avellone wants to make a spiritial successor of Planscape: Torment and he mentions that Kickstarter might give him the oppounity to make that game into a reality someday. Well, I got three words for him:
Make it happen.

I've been thinking about this a lot lately: A Co-op Batman game based on the 60s show. Batman and Robin would obviously be voiced by Adam West and Burt Ward (It's a shame the narrator and pretty much all the other actors are dead) It would have something similar to the Arkham series' combat system, but with bone-snapping takedowns and anything too complicated replaced with POW! effects and staged-looking fights against crooks in bowler hats. There'd obviously be no stealth, because 60s Batman rarely actually fights crime during the night. Instead you'd have Bat-vehicle sections, death traps at the end of every level that you have to escape in an adventure game style (ridiculous unexplained Bat-gadgets nearly always being the solution) and riddles that need incredibly circuitous logic to solve. And naturally, Batman would go through the entire game extolling the virtues of the US Government and being a model member of society in every cutscene. There'd even be a Batman Special edition that comes with a free glass of orange juice. Also, Rockstar Games need to hire Cali and put him in charge of L.A. Noire 2 (ha). Like right now.

I'd contribute to a kickstarter to have that game.
Seriously. I find the industry is taking itself a little too seriously in it's urge to be considered "art". This game would be the remedy to that disease.
