No, it's just alliance soldiers that make the final push along with your squad and Anderson. there are also a few gunships but Harbinger shoots them down. I think the only time you see the other races is the cutscene before you have to shoot some nukes at a destroyer reaper.
Just saw those two pages. Loved the eyes on this one. I did find the flying a little weird. I dunno, i love the colouring but i always assumed an charge would make you look more like an energy tube thing the power rangers were when they ported to the command center.

Well then, about the lack of aliens in the last part, you all probably know by now what my opinions are, so no need for me to waste my energy to type it again.
Hmm... about the biotic charge, I don't always expect Shepard to turn herself into some energy light beam when charging it. I've always think of as a quantum leap with a megaton punch of sorts. But that's just me. To be fair, I guess I didn't portray her rushing in a speed of light well as it should be, so you have a point there.

Ok... I saw the newest update and I must admit, you're going to make me weep... it's very well done, well portrayed, and that's what makes it so sad to see all the broken bleeding people in the last panel... well done! And I can't wait to see more updates...

Thanks for the feedback!
@lily: Admittatively, these are the hardest pages I've drawn (not just because the technical difficulty) but the content of it was... unnerving to draw for me, especially there a few things that hit to close to home for me...

Are you ok?

Apart from pressures of trying to graduate this year, going through a tough time as a game designer when the pains of the recession are showing through the industry and fighting off my depression? I'm good.
No really, it's just that my family was a refugee trying to escape the horrors of the aftermath from the Vietnam War, that might give you an idea why it's close to home. Not to mention the timing itself when the pages were drawn at a time and... well this is my first time I've drew blood and death.
Hence this is not easy with these up coming pages.

Thanks for the feed back and sorry if I haven't been replying, since my depression was close to hitting rock bottom at the time. I guess it's clearing up for now, since I don't get angry much these days, especially with some certain triggers. Still I had to avoid them for a safe bet. I'll try to reply more often as I can from now on. @govar: Thanks. I had a difficult time trying to sketch Anderson faithfully while still following the comic's style. I was kinda suprised about the feed back about the eyes, since usually when it comes to the eyes, I put more detail to it if it wasn't in comic form. And the face wounds, glad you liked it, since I was trying to potray Shepard beaten and battered to death of sorts, hoping to show how mortal she is at the time. @buch I'm surprised about the black and white part. I was worried it might be the comic's weakness since most comments I have on deviantArt until the black and white stage, that they tend to compliment about the colours. Hence thanks. Also about Shepard's expression, let know what you think she's expressing about, since I'm trying to improve the character expression as much as possible. @lily. Thanks for the chocolates and cookies. I appresiated.

Hard to say what exactly I'm getting in her expressions. Weariness, open, frank emotion... relief? I like the smiles she gives to Anderson there - they look genuine. But it's hard to say exactly.

Minus relief. Instead replace with the word "wisful". Well, from the looks of the feed, I'm getting there! Especially you mention that they are genuine.
