Thanks for showing an interest I haven't quite finished enough of it to post, but I'll be sure to post a link when I'm done. The Victorian era's always been a little bit of a pet interest of mine, so if you post those ghost stories, be sure to let us all know!

I totally will. I really need accountability in my original fic.
...however, does the site have a section for it? Or I'll just put a link to fictionpress or something. (I haven't been there in ages...)

Hmm.... There isn't a section for it here. But maybe there should be. Certainly the general conversation here extends way beyond fanfic. I'll talk to Her Upstairs about it.
For the time being, please do post a Fiction Press link.

Nemonus, your works in progress all sound most intriguing. Keep us in the loop when they're completed... please!

Aw, thank you--your interest makes me feel honored and makes the things have more chance of being completed....or started, for that matter. Fanfic is so distracting! I do original fic so much better when I don't have fanfic project. Aka...never. I'll certainly post a link. Or, an original fiction section would probably benefit all of us!

I currently have a story in progress that takes place in the 1870's and involves a Japanese Samurai and an Irish American gunslinger who team up to hunt down a powerful Malaysian smuggler and his private army. The smuggler of course had wronged the two in the past, but I won't mention how, to avoid spoiling the story.

For the last 5 ish years Ive been working on a dark tower fan fiction called heroes of the dark tower. it was the first fan fic i ever started and am still working on it today. The beginning is pretty rough and it is in desperate need of revision in parts, but im proud of it nonetheless. www.fanfiction.net/s/2831505/1/The_bHeroes_b_of_the_bDark_b_bTower_bis the link if interested, it is over 100k words now so a word of warning, it's a beast to get in to lol.

Im still mostly concentrating on my very first Fanfic "Mass Effect Echoes" (Gotta get the plug in) but i've got two other stories going around in my head:
One is a dragon age story, Which takes place after the Origins, mostly dealing with Alistar's marriage to teh Cousland. (she hasnt got a first name yet) But its basically about this Lord who is also an abomination, and is going to attempt to possess Alistair and take the throne.
the Other is an Assassins creed story. Im really excited about this one. Its called Assassins creed: Redemption. it focusses on two characters. Firstly, in 2012, a woman called Lisa who works for Abstergo and volenteers to be put in the Animus to find a piece of Eden. (the sword). The second character is her ancestor in 1942. (Her grandmother) who is a Templar and is trying to find said piece of Eden. Although both characters start out as "Baddies" they both gradully come to realise that the Templars are actully the bad guys.

There's just something about Cole Phelps that makes me want to write L.A. Noire fanfiction. Probably of the crossover variety! Life On Noire, Citadel Noire? Who knows?
Cole: What're you doing, Harkin? Drinking on a beat is AGAINST. REG-U-LAT-IONS. *pounds table in unison with every syllable* Harkin: Relax, golden boy. Everyone knows the key to real detective work is to sit in a sleazy bar 24/7 and make lewd comments at passing marines. Speaking of which, you've got a fine ass, Phelps... (Cole sighs)

I'm decided now. Once I finish KBotC, I'm gonna try my hand at a serious, case-based, L.A. Noire inspired (but not a crossover) C-Sec fanfiction. Definitely gonna have the protagonist eventually partnered with Harkin (it'll have to be pre-ME2, then) for the lulz.
I was writing down an outline for the first case and I thought of something. Couldn't asari mind babies lead to members of different species like humans and turians being blood relatives of each other? Heh.

Couldn't asari mind babies lead to members of different species like humans and turians being blood relatives of each other? Heh. I had thought about the same thing, as a matter of fact. In my current fanfic, Cyan Steel, I kind of portrayed Burke and Libra to be brother and sister, since they have the same father, just that Burke had a human mother and Libra was born from an asari.
