The truth is that I haven't kept my head down as much as I should. Also that my usual challenging and sarcasm works better on my male professors than madam professor with her stupid play.
Ah well. it's all a learning experience. But I feel like a sellout.

This sound really ordinary but I can't find my sketchbok anywhere. It's gone completely missing. Did I leave it down south?
Gah, I hate living in two places at once.
EDIT: Okay, found the eslusive sketchbook under my bed. Sorry, I'm spazzing out today. Must have something to do with the two auditions today and tomorrow. Hamlet is putting a lot of pressure on everyone.

I had no idea that one was Scottish Gorvar!
Incidentally I love Hamlet - who are you playing, Marianne?

This probably constitutes as "Something horrible happened to everyone in the United States".
They're passing the Stop Online Piracy Act which essentially does a little more than just stopping piracy, as it pretty much cuts into legit websites that are hazy about copyright. That means sites like YouTube will be axed.
It's going to the supreme court soon, and I really don't think it has a chance of being declared unconstitutional.

Way to ruin it for the rest of us, America. Once again.

They actually passed it?
Those troglodyte idiots passed it?
This will all but kill the internet for the entire freaking world.
They thought they were in a recession before? Just wait until half the internet shuts down and bunch of folks who were making money suddenly can't. Then they will see a recession. Nice job breaking it congress.
Edit
Oh wait. The vote hasn't happened yet. That's in two days. Looks like they are trying to creep it in during the Christmas season when everyone has other things on their minds.
Last I checked it looked unlikely to pass.
Yikes Cali, you nearly gave me a conniption. I will have plenty of time to get that in 2 days when the act goes to a vote.

Scared me too. Doubt it will make it to the president's desk, but I wrote my congressman an e-mail.
Dear Rep. Carney,
It has come to my attention that a bill is presently on the floor of the house that I deeply disagree with. That is the "Stop Online Piracy" act of 2011 (H.R. 3261). I agree that Online piracy is a serious problem, but do not feel that this bill is the right reaction to it. I understand that this bill is up before the judiciary committee, not yours, but I wanted to raise my concerns now before the issue is settled.
I do not think that extending the rights of copyright holders is the best solution at this time. There are many abuses of the present copyright law, not all of them from the internet. I read an article this morning that indicated that wedding photographers are now being sued for including copyrighted music chosen by the celebrants in their videos.
I would prefer it if copyright law was dismantled and reassembled to better protect the rights of artists, not the companies who manufacture them. However, I don't think the financial world today would accommodate such a change. There is too much money on the line. For now I will be content in sharing my hope that you will vote No on this bill (H.R. 3261) should you have the opportunity to.
Thank you very much,
Clint Johnston, M.L.S.
