In every yang moment, there always a yin, especially in this forum as a thumbrule. I'll start with the two characters. First off, I like that Manpuku from Okamiden static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Manpuku_8198.PNG [/img] First off, he's a fat kid with fire for his hair, eats a lot and names the player character "Pork Chops". Keeping this short, he's a good kid who took a big effort to save his mum from being cooked by demons, funny in a at him kind of a way and not to mention saved my character from being cooked and drowned in a giant pot of soup by... well basically eating the whole pot. What a partner. 2nd character that I like is that old sailor from the same game. He's deaf but he's an awesome troller. There's this one scene where some angry warrior wanted to take my other partner's weapon, then this old sailor comes along and told him there's a cool "living weapon" in the capital city and the warrior left them alone. The trolling part comes in when he revealed to the players that the living weapon in the question is a "swordfish". Nice trolling. So what your favourite characters?

Good idea for a thread. Avoiding main characters, I would say I'm a big fan of Malik from Assassin's Creed and Arcade Gannon from Fallout: New Vegas, though not to the level of writing trashy fanfiction. And Joshua Graham from the latter game's DLC. Having listened to anything anyone in the Mojave had to say about the Burned Man and reading up on what his role in Fallout: Van Buren was supposed to be like, it was suprising to meet the guy and find out he's not exactly the anti-Caesar revolutionary I was expecting, but this religious, almost poetic missionary you can still see flashes of bloodlust in. There's this bit where he recites Psalm 137 to the Courier in a vaguely threatening tone (especially the way he asks him/her "Do you know what that means?" afterwards) that's probably one of my favourite moments in the entire game.

I like Arcade Gannon too. Poor guy get's the short end of the stick in most endings.
I like Veronica too, but I'm a bit sad that she got screwed over in the end, not matter what path you pick.
Who do I like that is not from any of the BioWare games (I'm avoiding those for now)... Kazooie from "Banjo-Kazzoie", especially the first and the 2nd game. I have weakness for snarky characters.
Also Gregg the Grim Reaper from "Conker's Bad Fur Day"

Steven Heck from Alpha Protocol stands out really well right now.
He's a batshit crazy conspiracy theory nut. This means I should hate him with a bloody passion but I can't. Get on his good side and he covers your tracks sells you guns at a discount and spikes the coke supply of one of your enemies.
Get on his bad side...well poor Wen...

I like(d?) Lucy, too. Especially the conversations Desmond could have with her after every cluster of assassinations in the first game (the ones in the games after that are surprisingly formulaic (The first time she'll discuss what they should do next with Desmond, the second time she'll show doubts they can do whatever it is they're doing and Desmond will reassure her. It happens twice in the second game and about seven times in Brotherhood.))
I'd probably nominate Vidic, the hammy head scientist from the same series, for this thread too. I don't know why, I just enjoyed watching him overact about everything and reading his poorly spelled e-mails.

Ladies and gentlemen....Vernon Rouche.
Also Wrex and the Arbiter from Halo III for obvious reasons.

Am I the only one who actually likes Carver from Dragon Age 2? Sure, the good folks on the Social Forum hate him because he doesn't have breasts and a " moe" attitude, but he does tell Anders to shove it with more bluntness than anyone else ("I don't hate you because you're a mage. I hate you because you won't shut up about it.") ever manages. I like the idea of a party member who actually resents my player character a little and wants to thrive on his own terms, rather than treating the PC like the messiah (which they inevitably are) and hanging on their every word. And his Grey Warden armour is cool, too. I want some for my Hawke!

Strangely enough, I kinda like Morinth.

The brother brother rivalry especially felt very real to me. That was one of the better things about the writing in that game.

What do you not like about him? (bonus points for Carver: Having him lets you use a two-handed blade warrior in Act 1 without resorting to Fenris.)

Pretty much every NPC from the Diablo games. Especially Deckard Cain, Adria the Witch, Wirt the Peg Legged Boy, Lysander, and the potion seller from Act III of Diablo 2 (can't remember his name).
