OK I know this is a long shot but my girlfriend has thought of a book she has read once but cannot remember the title or author. This is probably really obscure and unless any of you guys have read or seen it is unlikely you'll know what we are looking for. It was inspired by certain concepts from Charles Manson and his whole "Helter Skelter" schlock. The basic concept seems to be about a rare snowstorm that hits southern California and paralyzes the whole area. There is no services possible and streets and transit is all but unusable. When this happens some weird ass cult of people who misinterpreted the war between races that Manson taught would happen start going out and killing families in their homes in the vicinity of the Manson murders. The action focuses on one family that is trying to survive an attack by these freaks. This is a tall order I know but if any of you guys have read this or can shoot us a title I would be grateful. Thanks in advance. Yeah yeah I know this is a real cheerful piece of work. What can I say,It`s a hot summer night in Halifax and we just watched a Manson inspired episode of Criminal minds. Edit: Scratch that, we found it. It took a new search term and some digging through Amazon. It was on the last page of the search www.amazon.ca/Deep-Freeze-Thom-Racina/dp/0451215524/ref=sr_1_16?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1309916538&sr=1-16
