Lemme guess, Noveria right? I ****ing hate that ****ing planet for just that reason. Yeah, the consent reminder that the tram is down and blah blah blah doesn't help. I call that planet buggy elevator hell. That's not even considering the Rachni...

Funny. The only bug I dealt with in ME1 was my squad not following me around on Feros.

I had PC and I can't honestly remember any major bugs.

The elevator freezing one was the only one I did have. It always showed up when I had not done any manual saves for a while and the last auto save was like an hour earlier.

But Noveria was my favorite part of Mock Effect! Aw! Roman, thanks. Because I thought that was by far the worst bit. I have very vivid memories of trying to think of an angle and then milking it to death in a teriffic hurry.

The phenomenon you get in games where you import a save game, with the incredible uneasy pause you always have before a character mentions something you did.
I'm not quoting actual dialogue but it's always like this:
Tali: Shepard can be trusted. ...After all, they got me my pilgrimage data.
It's popping up way too much in Alpha Protocol, too, what with the actual emphasis on choice:
Leland: Oh, Mike, Mike, Mike. Mike, BRO! *smokes ridiculously oversized cigarette* ...You shouldn't have killed those NSAs in Rome ... And you shouldn't have killed those CIA agents in Rome.

Did anyone else a have that long pause in MEII's going towards the Omega Relay and it pauses in places to see if you bought the power ups or not?

Not on my PC, despite the fact it now has PC cancer... thanks to SecuROMs (From ME1 and DA2).

In fairness Glow, the framed narrative conversation with Leland (take notes Bioware you got it wrong, oh so wrong in DA) allows you to kind of see the events through Leland's eyes. You can manipulate him hardcore having taken the right actions in the hubs. He'll say that you screwed up without knowing all the actions you took.
It's kind of fun actually.

I was about to say just how much more I prefer the framed narrative in Alpha Protocol over Dragon Age 2's! I wasn't critizing that, just the weird pause there is whenever somebody brings up an earlier event that was player chose.

I wonder if that is some kind of loading thing where the game checks against earlier script flags to see which one happened. One of my very favorite script checks in Alpha Protocol happened in Moscow. It made the tropes page so you can look it up if you absolutely must without spoiling it case you did not see it. You need to complete Brayko's dossier to have an opportunity to see it.

The four creator videos that preface Witcher 2. I feel like I'm playing AC1 again.

I've made mention of this in the LA Noire thread, but equipment anachronisms really piss me off. *glares evilly at COD: Black Ops* More than half the weapons they show in the game weren't even on the drawing board when the events of the game took place.
Examples include the Steyr AUG (1977, adopted by the Austrian Army), the FAMAS (1978), the MP5K (1976), the CZ-75 (1975), M16 w/ burst fire FCG (fire control group) (1980s), AKS-74U (1979), Spectre SMG (1980s), Galil (1972), H&K G11 (1980's prototype, never produced), PSG-1 (1972), WA2000 (1970's), L96A1 (1982), SPAS 12 (1979), the ASP pistol (1975), etc.
I really don't ask for much. Just PAY ATTENTION TO DETAIL YOU LAZY ASS GAME DEVELOPERS!

You need to have a talk with my father. I pick out historical and political anachronisms, he points out that the gun the guy has is a year early.
